“The President has started looking into foreigners and people of interest …”. He glances at my father who has dozed off. “If he started looking into your father … and he would, it would not be good …”.
I swallow and look at him, my eyes telling him to be truthful. “So you just worried for my father ?”
“Okay, I would not want them to look into my things either”. He gives me a cheeky grin. “I hear they arrest first and then ask questions, in rather uncomfortable ways … so no I prefer to leave”.
