“When Jayce returns, he’ll burn it,” Kai said.
Nate left the sphere on the balcony and followed Peyton back inside. As the two of them made their way around the loft, he realized the places where the dark, the evil, revealed itself to Peyton were the areas where Olivia had attacked in some way. The chair Parker used when his computer exploded, the fireplace where they burned the box of ruined groceries, Kai’s bathroom where he cleaned up from Olivia’s nighttime attack, and the kitchen sink. Still on the printer tray, the picture he’d taken of the smear on Olivia’s door that instigated Parker’s episode remained fog free. By the time Lucas, Jayce, and Mason returned with both boxes and carry-out pizza, several orbs of black fog filled the balcony.
