As we planned on traveling further than we intended to. We all felt it would be best to stay in a hotel and arrive at the Shadow Pack in the morning. Sam was nervous as hell as we checked in, frequently questioning if she was doing the right thing.
Until recently, she was still having nightmares about what they did to her. So I didn’t answer her because I think she is crazy for wanting to go back, no matter the reason. I’m concerned that going back and seeing them will unleash a flood of terrible memories. But on the other hand, Sam will have a first-row seat to their murder, and after tomorrow, she will know that they can never hurt her again.
