It’s a good thing that she has stopped breast feeding, she is relieved that she is able to help herself to a strong drink. She hasn’t drank alcohol for a very long time and she had forgotten that she is now able to drink some until today.
“Madam, your mother is asking for you?” Nancy informs her. She immediately puts down her glass and heads to the living room. She has so much to say but when she glances at her mother’s torn expression all she can think of is running into her arms.
“I'm so sorry mother,” she whimpers as she leans her head against her chest. “You have nothing to be sorry about,” her mother whispers as she fondly rubs her back.
“Can we sit down and talk?” Mrs. Luther requests with a serious look on her face. “Okay, sure,” she agrees as she impatiently paces to the couch
