Gregory grins widely when he hears the response he wanted to hear, “Okay then l better let you work so you won’t end up being tied up during the lunch hour,” he utters as he pushes back his chair to stand up.
He glances at her one last time before walking out the door. She can’t believe that Gregory is the kid she cruelly laughed at, she remembers her friends making fun of him calling him a rude spoiled brat and when he came up to her to tell her he likes her she took it as an opportunity to impress her friends by crushing him.
Indeed people do change as they grow up, from what she gathers Gregory has grown into a humble, decent and gentle man. She plans to ask him what has contributed to grooming him into the fine man that he is today.
