“ Mia,” I called my voice cracking at the end. As I stepped into the room I saw her looking up at me.
“ Hey,” she said in her small voice.
“ Baby,” I said as I walked towards the bed before sitting down. One by one everyone left, leaving us alone. I walked closer before sitting beside her.
“ You were amazing,” I said looking at her beautiful angelic face. I can't let her know how scared I was when she felt unconscious.
“ I never knew my mate could be this strong,” I said with a chuckle.
“ Is she okay?” She asked. This small creature has to be kidding me. She is concerned about her.
“ Yeah, still recovering,” I replied, not wanting her to know where she is right now.
