As soon as I stepped inside I felt a strong pair of arms around me lifting me up. I gasped and before I could process anything I was in Gideon's arms in a bridal style and we were already upstairs heading towards his room.
“ Gideon,” I said in a small voice with my heart still pounding in my chest. I looked up at his face which was hard to read as his jaws were ticked.
Is he angry? I didn't do anything to provoke him, did I?
Pushing the door open he took me inside before closing the door shut behind him.
“ What is going on?” I asked, looking at him. Without a word he made me stand up and face him.
There were lots of things going on in his head and I could tell by looking at him. Before I could ask him anything he pulled me in a tight hug.
