Not Possible.
Was LC, my benefactor, the person who gave me my big break, the one with a huge hand in my success, Micah all along?
“I don’t believe this.” I whisper as I look at him shell-shocked.
“Best believe it then, princess.” He says to me, his voice husky as he still holds me impossibly close.
But, I am no longer in the moment. I am reeling, trying to wrap my mind around this but failing.
Did Micah already know I was the one behind Mistyca? Did he knowingly set me up for success only to take the rug out of my feet years later? Was this a joke to him?
