I knew where exactly the noise was coming from, the alleyway across the road. I stopped in my tracks and rushed towards the other side of the road to reach for the owner of the cries
It was a narrow alley with a wall blocking the other end. The instant I stood at the entrance, I noticed that I have blocked the light. The three dudes who were harassing a young boy turned their attention towards me and then frowned.
I have seen these men around; they would usually pick up on certain people to steal money from them. I had already started to feel the anger boiling in my veins, but I was trying to keep my calm until I see the fear in their eyes.
