We went to the hospital for a check-up after I insisted. Matteo said he was okay, and those injuries were not that serious. But his wounds were bleeding and needed to be treated and bandaged properly. Mia had also come with my mom, dad, uncle Salvo, and aunt Valentina.
“How is Matteo?” Mia asked in worry as soon as she arrived.
“He is inside the clinical room. Doctors are treating him,” Xavier replied.
“Is he serious?” Mia’s voice showed panic.
“No, no, baby girl. He is fine. He just had small scratches on his legs and arms. Nothing so much to worry about. You don't stress yourself,” Xavier said calmly.
“What do you mean by small scratches? His wounds were bleeding badly. Didn't you see that?” I scowled at Xavier.
