Mia Duncan’s POV “Come on, sweetheart, let me treat you to something nice. You won’t regret it, I promised you,” the old stinky man with bad breath was breathing down my neck, eyeing me up and down but mostly looked at my cleavage. It was Friday night and I was enjoying myself to a good old whiskey as I watched people passing by until this creeper coming onto me. “Don’t you have somewhere to be?” I said politely as I was playing the edge of my glass. “Yeah, in your p***y,” he snickered. I rolled my eyes inwardly before I returned to look at his ugly face with a saccharine smile. “Is it now?” I asked before eyeing him up and down with my eyes before getting up from the bar, putting the money for my drink, and swaying to the front door. It was not a busy night so I might want to get some tonight. He chugged down his drink before following me to the front door before pinching my ass. I flinched, trying to control my anger before smiling saccharinely again at him. We went to the back alley when he roughly pushed me toward the cold door and nuzzling my neck, taking in my scent. I rolled my eyes before faking my moan. He then being bold as he tried to spread my legs. I pushed him at arm's length before looking at him, faking a smile. “We can’t do it here, people might catch us,” I said while playing with his face. I then took his hand and dragged him inside the nearest motel through the back door. He has happily followed me as he was thinking that he might get some tonight. Well, tough luck buddy, s*x was not on the agenda. As we got inside the room, he pushed me up the door, trying to kiss me on the lips but I avoided it as it landed on my cheek. I pushed him roughly onto the bed before jumping on top of him, strangling him. I flipped my hair to the side and playing with the buttons on his big suit. I smiled seductively until I grabbed his necktie before I grabbed it and jerked it with all my might. His face was suffocating as he tried to get my hands off it. I smirked at him and before I knew it, his hands landed flatly on the bed. I released it as his eyes were dead. I got off him and took his briefcase and opened it up. He has all the information that my client needed to win the case against his companies. I took the picture and sent it to her. A few moments later, 1 million euros was transferred to my bank. I went into the bathroom and got rid of the sultry dress that was hanging tightly on my body. It was reeking with alcohol, weed, and that man’s cologne which was not good for someone like him. I pulled out my spare clothes from underneath the counter and changed into black jeans and a hoodie and changed my heels into combat boots. I pulled out my short blonde wig and discarded it. My long brunette hair was flowing from my head. I took out another wig, which was now it was black, and put it on before pulling my hoodie over my head. I took out black contact lenses to be into my eyes to cover my sterling gray orbs. I looked into the mirror one last time before taking out gloves to cover my track. I cleaned my fingerprints and such before getting out. I repositioned the big guy into a sleeping position so that in the morning the housekeeper will not be startled by the discovery that he was dead. I packed up my backpack and kill off the light before I went into the bathroom and went out through the small window on top of the toilet. The room was at level 3 so it was not hard to land. I landed on the ground and looked around to see if there was anybody around. I pulled my backpack and started walking along the abandoned alley. After a few blocks away from that motel, I got into my car and started the ignition. After some time, I drove out of the abandoned alley as the rearview disappeared in the peripheral view of my eyes.   Liam Hunt’s POV “Alright, boyo, it’s that killer again. This time he was vicious than ever. Check this CCTV at the motel,” my partner, Fred, said while pushing the laptop onto my desk. I saw one ugly, big man and a blonde which I believed was a prostitute were going inside the murder scene. It was thirty after midnight when they went inside and never came out until a housekeeper called us about the murder. “What do you think?” Fred asked as I was busy trying to play the scene inside my head. “I think the prostitute was his accomplice. We need to investigate her now. Where is she?” I asked Fred. He put out his head toward the patrol police car. I looked at Fred before went over to the woman. She was shaking like she had seen a ghost. “Ma’am,” I said as she looked at me with her big blue eyes. “My name is Detective Liam Hunt, I’m with Edinburgh Police. Can you tell me when were you at the time of 12 AM till 1 AM?” I asked her as I tried to look calm as possible, not menacing. I had a reason to believe this woman was innocent. “I was at work at the strip club down two blocks from here. It was vague at that time as I can’t recall where I was. The last time I remembered was I was in my motel room, the one that had the dead guy in it,” she said as she was drinking the hot chocolate that was given by Fred. That woman was seen by the housekeeper was choking the man on the bed before she lost her conscience. “Do you meet with anyone before that?” I asked. She shook her head no as she was looking a little bit lost. “Thank you for your cooperation,” I said before I nodded for them to take her to the station. “You think she was not guilty, aren’t you?” As reading my mind, Fred spoke to me. “Hunt, you can’t seriously think that she was innocent. She wore the same dress and stilettos that we saw in the video. She’s the killer!” Fred said as I was looking at the video again. Something hit me as I paused the video. “Take a look at this,” I pointed to him. Fred looked before his eyebrows came together, “Yeah, so?” He asked. Give it to Fred that needed me to explain everything. “Look at her hand, she was dragging him with her right hand, but when I saw that woman just now, her dominant hand was left. I think someone set her up,” I said to Fred, wishing he would understand. Fred furrowed his eyebrows before looking at me. “Hunt, you’re a genius!” He said before patting me on the shoulder. “Now that we know that woman is innocent, how do you plan to catch this imposter?” Fred said looking at me expectedly. I smirked at him before taking my gloves out and went inside the motel. He followed pursuit and we went into the crime scene. Yellow tapes were everywhere. I dodged some of them as I scanned the room. I observed around as I heard many overlapping voices until I can feel I was the only one in the room. I replayed the scene of a murder in my mind. The man pushed up the girl up the door as some of the hinges were crooked which meant such great force was being done. They perhaps kissed or in this case, the imposter was trying to get him onto the bed to strangle him. She was making some walks with heels as I can see some dents on the floor. I went to bed and feel it. There was nothing uncommon, was it. I hypothesized that the girl was choking the guy with his necktie as I found it on the floor. I gave it to the forensic team to do some DNA analysis on it. After he was dead, the woman moved into the bathroom, maybe to calm her nerves but there was nothing on the counter or sink for a sign of medication. That would only mean she was a professional. I observed the toilet, nothing. I sighed. Fred was calling me to cut it out before I notice something from the small window on top of the toilet. Hair, clue. I put it into the Ziploc but I did not give it to the forensic team. I kept it to myself as I was determined to find who was the killer. “Hunt, let’s go,” Fred said before getting out of the room. I looked around one last time before getting out of the room as well and went back to the station. After a few hours later, I went to the lab to get the hair sample for the identity of our murderer. It turned out to be from hundreds of deceased until one name came out and was not dead. “Can you print that one, please?” I said before the lab assistant went to print the information and gave it to me. MIA DUNCAN was the name of the killer.
