Chapter 12:The dream

Selam's training with Alessa is going well, and she's learning more about her Lycan heritage. As she walks back to her quarters with Kofi, she feels a sense of normalcy.
"Hey, Kofi?" Selam asks, her voice curious.
"Yeah?" Kofi replies, his eyes on her.
"What do you think I'll be like as a Lycan? I mean, in my wolf form?"
Kofi's face lights up. "You'll be amazing, Selam. Fast, strong...and beautiful."
Selam rolls her eyes, laughing. "You think so?"
Kofi nods, his expression serious for a moment. "I do, Selam. You'll be incredible."
The conversation fades as they reach Selam's quarters.
Selam smiled, feeling a flutter in her chest at Kofi's words. "Thanks, Kofi," she said.
Kofi nodded, his eyes lingering on hers for a moment before he followed her into her quarters. Loki was curled up on the bed, and he wagged his tail lazily as they entered.
"Hey, buddy," Selam said, scratching behind Loki's ears. Kofi chuckled, sitting down on a nearby chair.
As they chatted for a bit, Selam felt a sense of comfort with Kofi around. They talked about training, about the Order, and about life.
As the night wore on, Kofi stood up to leave. "Get some rest, Selam. You've got training tomorrow."
Selam nodded, walking him to the door. "Thanks, Kofi."
Kofi's eyes met hers. "Anytime, Selam."
As he left, Selam felt a sense of calm. She settled in for the night, Loki curled up beside her.
But as she drifted off to sleep, Selam had a vivid dream. She was running through the forest, as a wolf. Her paws pounded the earth, the wind whipping through her fur. She felt powerful, free. The moon was full overhead, casting shadows on the trees.
In the dream, Selam chased after something - a deer, maybe. She was fast, her senses heightened. She could smell the deer's fear, hear its heart racing.
But as she closed in, the deer vanished. Selam stopped, panting, and looked up. Kofi was standing there, his eyes glowing in the dark. He smiled, and Selam felt a sense of peace.
Selam woke up with a start. Was that a glimpse of her Lycan form? What did the dream mean?
