The VIP and the Tour Guide

“Luke, please meet Francia. She’s the most wonderful tour guide you’ll ever have in this island,” said Lanz while introducing Francia, who’s slightly hiding her face, to Luke. “Francia, please take good care of our VIP guest. I’ll head off now and leave him to you.”

“Lovely to meet you Francia . . unique name,” Luke said while trying to see Francia’s whole face, “Don’t be shy, I’m quite easygoing.”

Luke is well aware that Francia is the upset lady who chased her last night and the one who owns the red lingerie. Lanz told him that Francia is his niece and even recommended her to be his tour guide. His curiosity grows and wanted to get to know Francia and the story behind the red lingerie that’s why he agreed right away.

Francia on the other hand doesn’t know what she’s feeling. But one thing is for sure, she’s embarrassed.

“Thanks . It’s an Italian name.” Francia responded with an awkward smile.

“Right! So what’s our itinerary for today?” Luke immediately replied trying to break the awkwardness between them.

“Oh . Ahh . Well, I’m thinking of taking you out for a road trip. Just so you’ll get the idea of how much there is to see in the island. And to get some fresh air.”

“Brilliant. Let’s get going then!”

Lanz informed Francia about Luke’s preference. Such as he prefers tricycle over a fancy car. So Francia will be driving him around using the tricycle.

“Wait, what are you doing?” Francia tried to stop Luke from jumping into the back of the driver’s seat.

“Nothing, I’m just trying to sit here. I find it more interesting. Why, what’s the matter?”Luke asked.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Francia replied with her brows pointing up, “First it’s not safe. Second, I don’t like someone, particularly a man, being too close to my body. And third, sitting inside is more comfortable and it’s wider for you.”

“Right! Well, I don’t want to argue, you’re the boss.” Luke went inside the tricycle with a smiling face.

Francia smirked thinking it’s the first time she won against a guest. But why does it hurt more than being told off. It’s weird.

“Ready?” Francia asked Luke before turning the engine on.

“Ready!” Luke confirmed looking thrilled.

The two headed off and their road trip began. For the first time, Luke got the chance to stare at Francia’s charming face. Her beauty is extraordinary. It radiates from the inside.

“Beautiful,” Luke said while looking at Francia’s face.

“I told you. Bili Island is beautiful, especially the coastal area. There’s more to it. You’ll see.” Francia proudly assured Luke.

“No, I mean you are beautiful.” Luke said without hesitating.

Francia is stunned. She suddenly feels butterflies on her stomach. How would she respond? Thank you? Stop it? Oh it’s awkward!
