Undefeated Daughter

11. Thank you

Lily POV:

As soon as the Beta showed me where the Daughters would be staying  I jumped in the first room with Reya and locked the door. As soon as I locked it I didn’t hear anything from the corridor, the only thing that was making noise was my dog.

“Reya, how am I going to avoid him?”

I was asking my dog for life advise, I was really losing my mind.

I looked around the room and noticed a clean shower in the corner, it wasn’t an ensuit so much rather than just a glass box in the corner of the room with tiles instead of hardwood flooring. For the last few hours I have been gripping onto my steering wheel and worrying about what this day would bring. I needed a shower.

I had countless mission where I had to stay in dingy motels or even stakeouts in forests but I never had to be a guest at a wolf’s mansion. I felt like I was betraying my own parents, i was breaking my promise. 

After the shower I put a towel around my body and looked at the mission notes. Nearly three weeks in his hell house, with him! He could be anywhere.

There was a knock on the door and I thought one of my sisters needed something, they were always forgetting to pack stuff. When I opened the door his eyes met mine. Those brown eyes that I longed for, the eyes I dreamt off. I let go of the handle and took a few steps back.

When he noticed my surprise he took his chance and stormed into the room locking it behind him.

“Lily” he simply said.

“GET OUT!” I screamed.

“Okay first of all, these rooms are soundproof and you’re being rude!” he mockingly said crossing his arms over his chest.

“Lucas I swear if you don’t get out of this room I’ll”…

“You’ll what? Shoot me? I think you’ve already done that yet I’m still standing here. Lily listen to me”. He came up close to me but I ran to get my bow and arrow.

He grabbed it at the same time as me and we both fell to the floor, struggling to take control. I could have ran faster to get it but I was still dressed in a towel. I elbowed him in the face but he still held it tight.

“It’s no use Lily, you know who I am” he flipped me over so my back was resting against his chest. I still held onto my bow.

“I know who you are and that’s exactly why I want to kill you. I hate you” I struggled for my bow.

“Is that why you kept my gift?” he tore my bow from me and pointed to my bed side table where I placed his flower. I thought I would pack it with me.

He threw my bow to the side and grabbed me by my throat pushing me onto the bed. I felt his knees dig into the mattress on either side of my body.

“Lucas please don’t do it” I recalled the events of the night outside of Oddity.

“Will you let me speak!? I will not harm you. I can’t believe my luck that you are here. Moon Goddess could have sent you anywhere but she sent you here.. “

“Mother sent me here!” I screamed at him.

“It doesn’t matter who but you’re here and I’m going to spend every second to change your mind about wolves. Because admit it Lily you like me already” his head lowered and his voice became a whisper.

“I don’t like you!”

“Wolves have a brilliant sense of smell Lily and I can smell your arousal. You’re wet for me”

That was it.

I wrapped my legs around his torso and flipped us over so I was straddling him. He didn’t resist, if anything he put his hands on my thighs and left them there. I could feel his grip getting tighter. I lowered my head into his neck and whispered into his ear.

“Lucas darling only violence turns me on” I slipped my hand under my pillow and pulled out my silver blade. “Wolfsbane makes everything exciting” I put my blade on his neck and waited for his response. I had all my arrows and blades dipped in wolfsbane at the Palace before we came here. He immediately hissed as the blade mode contact with his skin.  

“You’re turning me on now” he grabbed my hips and pressed me against himself. I felt how hard he was. “Tell me I’m wrong” I felt my towel slowly moving down my body. I would either kill him now or jump off and cover myself up. I chose the latter.

“You’re killing me here Lily”.

“I can promise you that Lucas. One day I will kill you”. I had my back turned towards him and I was adjusting the towel.

“Can we just talk?” I didn’t say anything, I wanted to go out and train with my bow and arrow. “Lily just talk to me”. I got up and headed for the door. “LILY!” he used his Alpha voice and made the whole room shake, including myself.

“Thank you” I simply said.

“What?”

“Thank you for saving my life. I never thank you in New York.”

“You already thanked me”.

“No I thanked you for not defeating me, I never thank you for saving my life. Now if you don’t mind please leave” I opened the door and gestured for him to get out.

Lucas jumped from the bed and peaked at the door, with one of his eyebrows raised I was expecting a cocky comment.

“Okay I guess I’ll leave your room and go in the corridor that is filled with your sisters. I bet they won’t see my b***r as well”

I shut the door immediately.

“Let’s get one thing straight Lucas. I don’t care what you want from me. You will never get it. The feelings you have for me are no match for the feelings you will show your mate so stop this bullshit and move on. I am not your toy to play with. You are a wolf”.

He got off the bed and approached me slowly.

“Close your eyes Lily”.

“f**k off Lucas”.

“Lily close your eyes “.

I hated the effect he had on me, but I knew if I didn’t he would either embarrass me or walk out into the corridor. I felt his warm hands on my hips and his body moved closer. He was so warm that it spread through my whole body.

“You see Lily, wolves are loyal beings, when their heart gets racing they can’t stop. My heart is thundering in  my chest whenever I see you.” He raised my hand and placed it on his chest. “It only beats for you. Listen and feel the effect you have on me”.

I felt his face getting closer to my neck and his hands moving up to my shoulders. “ I am a wolf yes, but why isn’t Steelix fighting for control if this is so wrong? He wants you and much as I want you”.

I felt my own body moving closer to his.

“Lily you know I’m being honest. My body craves you, my mind craves you. My lips crave yours.” He said quietly.

I couldn’t believe what he just said. I opened my eyes and I saw his cheeky grin on my face.

“What?”

In an instant I felt his lips on mine, I didn’t know how to react, this was my second kiss, ever. It was perfect. I felt my heartbeat increase and match his, his hands moved from my shoulders to either side of my head. As he moved his head and kissed me more passionately I couldn’t control my arms, they traced his body and rested on his shoulders. He walked up over to the wall, never breaking our kiss.

As he moved away I gasped for air I saw his eyes turn dark brown, and my body started shaking with fear but his warm hands calmed me down.

“Lucas, your eyes” my voice came out trembling.

“Don’t be scared beautiful, it’s not anger it’s lust”. His lips met mine again but this time it was more possessive and longing. I knew where this would lead to if I didn’t stop him.

I pushed him away and saw his cheeky smile again. However, he knew I wanted him to go.

“I liked that conversation” he gave me a quick wink and walked towards one of the windows.

I didn’t know what to say to what he was going to do. I knew on thing; my lips missed his.

“Take a picture it will last longer” he said before he jumped out of the window. I knew wolves could land it and I didn’t bother to look at him.

“You weren’t going to do anything?” I looked over to Reya who was sitting in the corner. “Thanks”.
