14 It was a mile away from the boundary where I finally found Cade lying flat on his back in the sand. His horse stood a few feet away, gazing at him warily. Snickering, I got off Mika and stood over him. He held his arm over his eyes, shielding himself from the bright light. All I could see were lips moving as he mumbled to himself. “Nap time already?” He lifted his arm a tad.
