Abigail was as remarkable as I remembered, although I had forgotten how spirited my red-haired beauty was, how undeniably strong-willed and stubborn. Watching her sass the wolf the demon had charged to protect her, a smirk toyed at the corner of my lips.
Disappearing into the shadows, no longer wanting to entertain the arrogant pricks' nonsense, I sighed, admitting that Damien had disappointed me! I had known his father for centuries, I had watched him fall with Lucifer and the others, and honestly, he fell short of the mark!
