Chapter 26 The Scent of Wildflowers When my eyes opened, I saw Damián sitting on the edge of the bed next to me. The sweet scent of wildflowers tingled my senses. The smell of hay and musk no longer invaded the air as I fought through the cobwebs of my mind. “Where am I?” I mumbled, my eyes raking over the room.
