Where did Kane go?
I had to talk with my father about some pack issues, so I’m off in the one of the spare rooms talking and when I come back, Kane isn’t in the bedroom. I just assume that he has gone down to the dining room to eat. However, when I walk into the dining room, he isn’t there either.
As I sit down at the dining table, I slowly glance around at everyone else. I don’t know what is happening. I thought everything is going well, but now I’m starting to worry. It isn’t like him to just go off and leave without me unless he is upset over something.
Well, we didn’t really get a chance to talk last night. We were so lost in each other’s presence that our desires won out over our rational mind. This morning wasn’t any better.
