Hunter shifts into his wolf and launches himself towards Desmond, who has also just shifted. Desmond’s wolf is white and mangy with blood red eyes. His wolf is big for a rogue, but Hunter still towers over him.
All around me, warriors start shifting and launching attacks of their own. Eli moves to shield me from any attacks and says in my mind I’m getting you out of here. I’m going to have to shift. Stay close to me. Eli effortlessly shifts into his beautiful golden wolf and nudges me towards the south. For once I don’t fight him. I was just poisoned with wolfsbane not too long ago and I can tell Remi is still weak.
