“You did great today, Aly! We’ll continue your training back at Blood Moon. Are you all packed and ready to leave this afternoon?” I ask her as we start heading towards the dining hall.
“Thanks, Ree! And yes, for the most part. My parents are going to come visit in a couple weeks to make sure I’m settled in. All that’s left is to say my final goodbye at the daycare. I don’t know what the pups are going to do without me. They all started crying when I told them I was leaving! It was heartbreaking!” Aly says. She looks like she’s about to cry too, but she pulls herself together just as River runs up and shoves his way in between us. He throws his arm over Aly and leans in to kiss her on the cheek. Call me a softy, but I love seeing my big brother all mushy with his mate.
