Chapter Five

"Kate, you're awake. Finally, I get to see your beautiful eyes." Her dad sniffed hugging her like his lost treasure tears of joy rolled down his cheeks, he felt so out out of the world right now.

"Daddy where's brother? Didn't he come to see me? Where's momma?" She asked and he immediately remember what the doctor told him while she was still unconscious. He cried not because of her question but because he was going to lie to her for the first time. The past three weeks that she's been unconscious due to shock, he had a rethink on everything, he had enemies everywhere, his child wasn't safe with him anymore.

"He went to Chicago to further his studies, he'll return in eight years. And your mom.... she's gone to work, she was here since last night hoping you'd wake." He lied. He couldn't look at her face, he's the reason his son is dead, the reason she's in danger so it's either he do something about it or leave her to he own fate. Gabrielle never visited, she never asked of her health status, she used work as an excuse, Gabrielle never showed her the motherly love and care that she needed but she still loves her.

"Daddy why are you crying? C'mon don't cry, see I'm a strong girl, I'm back." Kate boasted showing off her tiny white skin to him. He laughed. How he grew to love her.

"So the white curse is awake!" Gabrielle barged in slamming the door hard that Kate shrieked and screamed in fear.

"Gabrielle please not now I beg you. She just......."

"Just what! Just what Stroma, she killed my Ken!" She spilled the beans before Stroma could even stop her but it was already too late because Kate heard. The painful memory stroke her, she yelped holding unto her head in pains.

"Kate! Kate are you okay?" Katerina asked.

"It hurts....it hurts alot." She cried not realizing eyes were on her.

"We should go to the infirmary later." Jeremy said his face showing concern while Mary, Gregor and Constance looked on.

"I have to go now." Kate said taking her bag to leave which kinda surprised them. They just got in and she's leaving? Is that how she learn? If something's bothering her, she can loosen up a bit...oh I forgot we just met. Those thoughts run through their minds but nevertheless they had to let her go fix herself, she looked quite sick like she's suffering from something bad or is it amnesia? Katerina kept thinking, her mind wasn't at peace, she just felt this connection since they met that morning like she should stay with her, it was as if they have met before like they've known each other for ages.

"Kat, she's gonna be fine okay?" Jeremy said soothing her shoulders as they watched Kate leave the class.

"Is something wrong with her? Did I see fear in her eyes or was it my hallucinations again?" Antonio thought.

"Babe, I brought some homemade pie for us." Rihanna said beside him taking out the pie then placing it in front of him, he knew he wasn't feeling it. He scoffed.

"The day you prepare something with your hands even if it's water, I'll drown myself." He said rather harsh then walked out on her leaving the class to gasp in shock never has Antonio being rude to her or walked out on her but what's up.

"Antonio!!" She screamed his name in anger. She was burning in rage, he just embarrassed her in the presence of 470 people....oh my gosh....he sure is really mad. But will she apologize?

"You should apologize for embarrassing me!" She screamed, he stopped backing her...
