Chapter 15
Dinner was amazing. I ate too much, but I knew I wouldn’t get to enjoy it any other time. Ethan fed me bites of his Pad Thai and helped himself to my Rad Na. It was intimate and cozy and more than a little hot.
By the time we got back to my house, I was wishing we could go to his place instead. I was not going to be able to wait much longer for s*x. It was a new feeling for me. s*x was a duty when I was married. Something I did because Bill would get an attitude if we didn’t have enough. I figured keeping him happy was part of my responsibility. Yet another of my misguided opinions formed out of what I thought was the truth.
Abby and Graham were snuggling on the couch when Ethan followed me inside. “Hey guys,” I said quietly, hoping my voice wouldn’t wake the kids.
