Chapter Two

We are now late to training as we approached the training ground the delta shouted “ I hope you are not walking this way to train? You are 10 minutes late. There will be no training for you two today. You will run the block. Off you go”

Wow what an arse . I thought Carly sighed and off we went least we was getting out in the fresh air and get out some of this built up anger and this way we can almost explore the pack grounds. We was running round when we stopped the group of f**k wits. Blonde snapped he head in our direction with a smug look on her face. She was pretty but her personality made her ugly. There was more then there was in the Snooker Hall. “ perhaps we should introduce ourselves tell them they have it all wrong and we got off on the wrong foot”

“NO Carly” before I could stop her she was jogging in there direction for f**k sake here we go I thought.

“Hi guys I’m Carly this is my sister Elsie, we are from the Moonstone pack and”

She was cut off with them giggling at her

“ What are you laughing at” I said directly to the dumb blonde seems she was the ring leader my sister always sore the best in everyone. This group really wasn’t the type of people I’d hang around with and neither or she why is she trying g so hard to be friends with them.

“Oh nothing “she smirked she side eyed her friends “I think we got off on the wrong foot my names Sara these are my best friends Maya and Lexi and this here is Tommy” as she put her arms around his neck, she didn’t bother to introduce the others as they walked away from the group. Sara slut and Tommy the tit easy to remember.

“Oh don’t worry about earlier easy mistake” what the hell is Carly mad

“We are just going to our hang out spot if you guy won’t to come with us”

“No thanks “ I cut Carly off before she comes out with some stupid idea “we must get back to training” I say giving her a warning stare.

I must of really ticked Sara off she starts walking towards me with a deadly glaze in her eyes. Carly looks at me worriedly before I knew it Tommy tit had his arm around my neck and his other holding my arms behind my back, okay this boy is strong but sure they no they are no match to be I’m a Alphas daughter, I thrash about to get my arms loose, Lexie came to his rescue and help him. Sara started unleashing hit after hit in my ribs at first they didn’t faze me and I just looked at her blankly. Iv never knew pack member act this way it sure doesn’t happen at our pack or to what I no off. Yet again I was gob smacked and must of been in shock my body wouldn’t move I couldn’t even form words to say to the girl, she just kept unleashing on me “ you sure think you are something special don’t you” and with one final hit I heard my ribs crack I feel to my knees trying to straighten myself up and get back to my feet with my hands still behind my back, I look over to Carly why isn’t she helping me, Maya was holding her and whispering in her ear she had tears running down her face. “ I’m fine” I look at her and say trying to hold my composer. “ Oh are you street rat “ the next thing I felt was a cold hit to the face and then darkness.

I Can hear voices they are muffed but I try hard to piece the conversation together. “Her and Carly was attacked no one from the pack seen anything, the delta said they was late and he...” Darkness.

“Eleanor and Carl on are there way, iv sent Adam to the Green Lake Park to see what their rogue situation is but I’m going to call him to come home, we need to sort this situation out first. I think we are on the verge of war I think who ever done this is....” Darkness.

“Did you see Carly’s face when we mentioned the beta coming home, she looked scared. Maya has been visiting her a lot its nice to see they are making friends here” Darkness

“Doctor why has my daughter been out two days straight, why is she not waking up” Darkness

Dad that’s my dad,I won’t to wake up. Wake up Elsie what’s that noise beep beep beep It’s so annoying. “Alpha Carl you daughter hasn’t come of age yet and hasn’t gained her wolf it takes longer for her to heal unlike us, it looks like Elsie was hit around the head with something that has knocked her unconscious ,there isn’t any swelling on her brain it’s just up to her when she wakes.

I’m here I’m awake my eyes feel like they are glued together I try and call out for my dad but my throat is dry. My eyes flicker bit don’t opened my mom notices.

“Darling can you hear us. Squeeze my hand if you can” I Squeeze my moms hand ever so lightly. What the hell happened to me, I can’t remember anything where am I. My eyes finally work and open I squint with the bright light in the room. My mom and dad are by my side. The doctor reaches to the back of me and press what a presume to be a button and nurses come in. “ we are just going to check her vitals” the doctor announces my mom steps aside so the nurses could do her job but my dad’s remains at my side. “ who did this Elsie” he asked I shake my head ever so lightly as if to say no. “ Let’s just make sure everything is working as it should before the heavy questions” the doctor giggles as if to break the tension in the room.

“Carl, Eleanor shall we step out side so the doctor can do his job. The sooner he does the sooner we can have answers” My uncle says God he looks like he needs a good night sleep.

“I’ll stay here with her” a familiar voice pipes up as Carly walks towards me sporting a big black eye. My eyes widen and she clearly knew what I was going to say as she put her finger to her lips. Our parents walk out the room as she passes me a cup with water in. I sip on the water and ask what the hell happened she waited for the doctor and nurses to leave the room, she told me the whole story and said that Maya had been visiting her threatening that if we told the alpha and Luna what happen she would bring hell on earth to us. Turns out Maya Is the betas mate and just like my uncle said he has earn the respect of the warriors here and now at our pack. I lay my head back on the pillow. All the emotions of the past two week flooded me at once and I was sobbing I just wonted to go home and this nightmare to be over. The doctors and nurses came back in and told me that with a goodnight rest and some pain killers I should be able to be discharged tomorrow. My parents walled back in and Carly gave me a warning glare as she stepped away. “ Darling we are going to leave you to rest, but tomorrow we need answers” my mom said as she kissed my cheek. My aunt Esme leaned over me and kissed my other cheek to and whispered that she was sorry and she promises to get the people who did this to me. I smile and nod at them I just want to go to sleep where none of this is reality. The doctor gives me some pain killers though the iv and I almost immediately feel more comfortable, I close my eyes and drift of to sleep.

The next day the nurses came in “how you feeling Elsie”

“ I’m fine thank you”

“Good we will get you some breakfast and write up your discharge papers, the alpha and Luna have asked that you go straight to there office they would like to speak to you”

Here we go, what can I say, how am I getting out of this one. “ nurse is it common for me not to remember events that happened”

“ erm” she looked confused “ yes it is common but your memory should come back in due time but I will let the doctor know if that’s how you are feeling”

I don’t won’t to be in the hospital any longer I just won’t to go home “ no it’s fine I just thought I’d ask if there was something that I can’t remember it would make sense if it came to that”

Still with a confused face “ okay sweetheart ill still run it past the doctor but I’ll get someone to bring you breakfast”

I nod and thank her as she leaves the room.

I’m on my way to my uncles office, everything is going ten thousand miles in my head. I decided I was going to say I had short memory lose and as soon as everything comes back to me I would let them no. This way at least I’ll buy me and my sister a couple of days and by that time we should be home.

I knock and walk into the office and everyone is in there, I can tell my parents are not happy with Carly and that she has had a good dressing down . “ hi everyone” I say sheepish why I don’t no perhaps its cause I’m about to tell them a flat out lie. " why didnt the doctor ring me i would of come and walked you hear you could of fainted" Dad was on the verge of losing it “ Hi darling , have a seat how are you feeling “ my mother rushed to me. “ I’m fine and feeling a lot better”

“ Elsie “my uncle has my attention “we are so sorry this happen to you and your sister in our pack and under out protection we hope that you will forgive us, could you tell us who they was or what they looked like or even how it happened . We have our security going through the CCTV footage but there seems to be a blip” my dad turns to face him with a stone face clearly not happy “a blip” my dad huffed. My uncle ignored my dad remark and looked back at me. Carly melted in her seat more clearly worried at what was about to come out my mouth next. “ I’m sorry I can’t remember anything of that morning, iv asked the doctor and he told me it could be short memory lost, but hopefully the days events will come back to me soon” they all hung there heads. “will we be leaving to go home today dad”

“No princess we have the answers we need, there is no easy way to say this but I need to step down as alpha..”

My dad explain that years ago a witch put a curse on our family. On my great grandfather that he would fall in love with a women who wasn’t his mate if he rejected this women he and the women would die however if he rejected his Luna for the women she and the alpha would die too there was no way out of it. It was a curse. Since they have been away the connection to my moms cousin has suppressed I suggested that she moved packs but my father told me that it would happen again to another women. The was tired of the fight they just wonted each other my dad was already feeling guilty for leaving the pack for so long, he said he had failed them. My uncle pleaded with him to wait just to see if they could find this witch that put this curse on him.

“ Elsie can you go down to the kitchen and get us some refreshments, Carly will join you shortly then after that you girls are to go back to your bedrooms me and your mom will come see you later. I think me and your uncle need to speak in private” I nodded and left the room.

As I walked down the stairs I could smell fresh grass that’s just been cut it smelt beautiful weirdly mouth watering iv never thought of fresh grass smelling so nice. I walk down the stairs taking one step at a time taking in the sensational smell when I’m pinned and floored onto the stairs big green eyes lock with mine my mouth watering getting lost in these eyes that have locked with mine. It was like my mind was scared I wanted to curl up in a ball yet again I’m being attacked but my body wanted to hold on to this person in front of me for dear life, like he was my protector “MATE” He roared .
