Chapter 5- Lakeside High

/knock knock. as I anxiously wait for the closed door to open, I look in the display glass of the classroom door. Mrs. Felicia unlocked the panel door for me to enter inside.

“Im sorry, Ma’am” I excused myself as I slid to the room, i cover my face partly to not see the faces that stared at me snickering to my punctuality. I was quite ashamed of my timing. But I thank God that she's in a somewhat good mood.

“nice of you to join us Ms. Kaufman”

/s**t. Why am I late for the first day of school? Blasted!

As I find a seat next to Erelah and Orifiel, and the class continued the lesson about physics and mathematical equation.

/when the class finishes. Me, Orifiel and Eralah have a chat in the corridor to the exit.

“So...where are we headed?”

“Chips and Dale. I'm going to get the car.” Orifiel added as he ran to his car.

“Erelah...you go follow Orifiel, I still have to bring this paper work to the faculty.” As I paused and went straight to the teacher’s faculty.

Knock Knock Knock. I knock the faculty door and excused myself to Mrs. Felicia’s desk space as she took the paperwork from my hands.

/Ofifia and erelah invited me to a snack at chips and dale

/sure i just got to pass my homework in the faculty

/i heard something muffled behind the glass like someone was getting scolded

/it was peytona getting scolded for wearing notorious clothing and makeup etc in the first day of class. At our first day of school.

“Nice of you to join us, Ms. Kaufman.” Beet red embarrassed as Erelah saved a seat for me next to her.

“Thank you so much for helping me carry these paperwork”

“No problem Mrs. Felicia.”

“Im sorry. Mrs. Felicia but I have to get going.”

“Ah, yes you may go. You are dismissed Ms. Kaufman” She nodded and prodded me to leave the teacher’s faculty to my business of my own agenda.

Erelah stood behind our lockers waiting for me as I exited the faculty

“Let’s go?” Erelah asked taking stuff from her locker

I too opened my locker that was beside hers and got my textbooks and duffel bag. As one piece of paper sticking out flew to the heel of my 2 inch black heels “What is this?” I questioned as my eyes widened in shock.As I cussed in the empty air.

” s**t! I forgot.” I slammed my locker shut. “What? What is it?” Erelah said Surprised at my sudden outburst. Then I showed her my homework that I haven't passed yet.

/ “what are you waiting for? Go!” Erelah yelled at obliviousness

I sprinted to the office once more and Mrs. Fecilia was about to leave the faculty because her shift is done when bumped into her scattering all the papers to fall from her hands and to the ground.

“I-I-Im so very sorry, Ma’am Felicia.” As I picked up all the papers that dispersed in the hallway and orderly fixed them and straightened it out for her in a jiffy.

/"Maam Im so sorry I didnt mean to bump into you" I apologetically said to her.

"She nodded her head "Were you looking for me"

"Yes, Maam. I forgot to hand out my homework for your class that was supposed to be submitted with the essay that we done today."

"Oh." as she checked the peice of paper and she bundle it up in an organized pile. and I offered my help to escort her in her endeavor to her Hummer R2. In which, she is grateful to my thoughtfulness, plus i felt guilty since the stack of papers were over her head, and way to heavy to carry them alone up to her car.

/we felt the campus as Orifiel and Erelah saw us and divided the workload by spliting up the papers and all of helped her u.

"There you go, Ms. Felicia"

"Thank you all of you for helping me carry my stuff" as she was fubbling her wallet to pay up. I stop her

"Ma'am, No need to pay us. we are glad to help you."

/it was peytona getting scolded for wearing notorious clothing and makeup by her boyfriend Max. That was the disciplinary team but i payed no heed to it and went our way.

/"Guys thanks for having my back."

"Anytime." Orifiel said putting his shoulder on Erelah.

"Ahem" I coughed at him to signal my uncomfortable awkwardness of them doing PDA

/We drove to chips and dale.

Ofifia and Erelah invited me to a fast food snack shop at Chips and dale. As Orifiel drove to the nearest parking slot beside it. The placed was a bit packed but luckily we found seats from the couple that had already eaten and was about to leave.
