Her eyes opened slowly, just to see a white ceiling hovering above her head. She tried to get up but a sharp pain hit her from the head.
She had expected pains from her tummy but not from her head. What exactly was wrong?
"You are awake." Marissa smiled as she walked into the room and peered over Astrid.
"What exactly happened at the pool? Why did you faint?" She asked and Astrid's eyes dimmed.
"Someone stabbed me." She muttered weakly.
"You fainted, Astrid. No one stabbed you alright." Marissa said.
Astrid couldn't believe her ears, her hands rushed back to touch her stomach and truthfully, there was not a single pain there that she felt. Not a scar too.
"How long have I been asleep?" She asked immediately.
"Just some hours." Marissa replied, "You didn't have a lot of injuries.
