Terry stepped out of the shower, his back and shoulders throbbing from the fall and the f*****g sunburn. He should’ve put sunscreen on earlier. He pulled on another pair of swim trunks and headed into the living room.
The room was empty. He picked up the note on the counter.
Took the kids to the pool. Thought you might like a little break.
