The next few days were ours, mine and his.
It was about our families joining as one, about Caleb and I starting the rest of our lives together.
I couldn't wait to be his and as I sat in the car driving to the venue of the wedding with Nikki and all my other bridesmaids I could only think about seeing him.
It was stupid and soppy, the fact that I was still so young and I had already found my true love.
But still as everything went on, as trees, sky and sea whizzed past me outside another face floated into my mind.
That of my dad.
It really did seem as though I was going to have to do this one alone.
And then again, I'm sure some people would say "oh you’re not doing it without him, he is still there in your heart" It still felt as though there was something missing.
