Chapter Three

Umupo kami doon nagsimulang tulungan siya. "Then alam rin paano gawin ito?" her eyes are sparkling while pointing her finger sa mga truth tables.

For some reason in my past life, she reminds me of my classmates who are taking advantage of me. I said "no" kahit na alam ko. Maybe I am really that selfish.

"I think you need to leave..." I said to her so that I can be alone. I helped her already and its enough "its getting late after all baka hanapin kana sa inyo".

"Anyways thanks sa textb----" I was about to grab my book when she suddendly uttered a word in the wind. I wasnt deaf to not hear that.

"Liar" I really heard that...so this is one of the 'troublesome'. I dont know para saan yung sinabi nyang iyon. Cant she atleast say thank you and pretend that she is delighted that I taught her?

Her face is.... I cant describe it at all or shes more like emotionless right now. Unlike minutes ago napakasaya niyang tignan.

"Im leaving" she said without looking at me for once.

Nah they are all the same.

That night pagkauwi ni mama at papa ay tinawag ako para bumaba. Mama was in the living room lumapit ako doon. Nang palapit na ako ay hinarap niya ako the she slapped me.

What is it this time?

"Hinayaan mong umalis si Rhiannon?" tanong niya sa akin.

We just met and you expect us to become friends overnight?

The night ended up without me having a meal. They ate together without me, I mean my mama at papa.

Maybe the real Erin is used to this.

Kinabukasan, nagising ako dahil sa tawag ni Sita. I can almost feel that I haven't even completed the eight hours of sleep yet she's waking me up.

"What's the matter, Sita?" I asked her. I can even feel that she knows that I will not like what she's about to say.

"Sir Raven is here miss, madam told me to wake you up" its been days since I last saw that man.

Nagayos na ako para sa school at lumabas ng kuwarto. Bumaba ako nang hagdan para hanapin si mama at papa. Nasa may dining hall sila ay maymga nakaprepare na pagkain na doon.

"Oh! Erin come here, join us" masiglang sabi sa akin iyon ni mama. Papa was there too nakaupo sa dulo ng mesa sa kanan naman niya ay si mama at sa kaliwa nito ay si Raven Galvez.

Now that he is here, closer to me. I find him tall and huge. Nakatalikod siya sa akin, his back too it feels like if he's going to hug you'll feel protected.

Umupo ako sa tabi ni mama. Tumingin ako sa kanya, ganoon din siya sa akin. Nakakalusaw ang titig niya pero hindi ko hinayaan na lamunin ako ng pakiramdam na iyon. "This is Raven Galvez hija" pakilala ni papa sa kanya. Inabot ko ang kamay ko sa kanya ganoon din siya sa akin. Napakalaki ng kamay niya, enough na yun para sakupin ang aking buong kanang kamay.

"Nice to meet you" he said. Even his voice feels manly, nangangalambot ako ako sa titig, hawak at boses niya.

"Nice to meet you too" sagot ko at dumiretso na sa pagkain. The whole breakfast was filled with discussion about business. Then mama at papa asked me about if I was fine with renovation, I don't even think that this house needs renovation. I agreed.

"Then you need to temporarily live to Galvez residence" papa said. I clenched my fist, they are really pushing me away.

"Is this about the other day mama?" I asked mama dahil baka iyon nga ang dahilan.

"No hija, we just want you to have the best surroundings while you were studying, you know maingay kapag may renovation. it makes sense, ayoko ng maiingay but...

"How about you?" I asked them, I think Raven is staring at me at while I am speaking to mama at papa. I need to maintain my composure in front of this handsome man.

"Were leaving for business and it might take a while" mama said while papa is nodding.

"Is this the reason why he is here?" I looked at Raven.

"No hija, he is actually here to ask for your hand to us" nakangiting sabi ni mama, What the heck? Ain't to early for this. "We already agreed ng papa mo kaya Raven can now visit you anytime he wants" Erin what are you gonna do if you were in this situation?

Tumayo ako "I'm leaving for school, please call Sita" ani ko doon sa isang yaya.

Pinigilan iyon ni mama and said "Starting today, ihahatid ka ni Raven" It wasn't a question but a statement. HAH?! I already have Sita.

"Aren't you too busy for that?" I said to him nicely baka akalain pa nito ay pinabubuntungan ko siya ng galit.

"No not at all" he said confidently at tumayo na rin siya sa kinauupuan niya. "Please excuse us, sir" sabi niya kay papa.

"Yes, please do bear with her" tsaka pa siya humalakhak. Please do bear with her? I don't even remember myself causing them trouble.

Nang makalabas ako sa bahay ay iginiya ako ni Raven sa kulay pula na kotse. "Raven" I called his name bago pa siya makapasok sa sasakyan. "I...ah nevermind" tuminin nalang ako sa labas ng sasakyan para maiwasan ang sitwasyon.

"Hmm? what is it?" his voice turned soft. God this situation is too awkward, at least for me. Habang papunta sa school ay madadaanan ang dagat. Tumigil siya doon at ipinarada ang sasakyan malapit sa dalampasigan. Lumabas ako, ganoon din siya. Kahit pa masaya ako na nakapunta ako dito ay lumabas tinanong ko parin siya "bakit mo ako dinala dito?" unti unti lumalapit siya, umaatras naman ako hanggang sa hawakan niya ang kamay ko dahilan para pumiglas ako ngunit hinila niya lamang ako ay isinandal sa pinto ng kotse niya at siniil ng maiinit na halik.
