MARIE
“What the hell?” I screamed my heart out, Who owned that dog?
It looked like a freaking black demon from the pits of hell.
Luckily, my husband snatched the collar before this dog turned me into the hands of rabies.
I covered my face because that was one of the most important things that I valued the most.
The next minute I didn't hear the growling of the dog, and I heard the door shut.
“Why would you shield your face when you could easily shield other parts of your body?” Jude asked with my hands in my face.
“Uhmmm excuse me, Jude Madigan, do you know how much I spend on skin care? I spend millions of dollars on this pretty little face!” I ranted with my hands still on my face.
He sighed.
“You can unshield your face now; the dog is clearly gone!”
I slowly took my hands off my face, and that was when I realized that I was half naked in my underwear that was still sort of keeping my secret that's already half exposed.
Like I wasn't already exposed enough as the bride that her husband left her on the altar of shame.
“That stupid dog!” I got up trying to find something to cover up my body.
“I'm surprised you didn't cover any of that! Jude expressed pointing to my underwear.
“You are my husband, I guess!” I shrugged.
“Not like you want to touch me or anything; get out. I'm surprised you didn't snap the neck of that dog when it came for me!” I sarcastically ranted.
Jude was awkwardly silent the whole time I was backing him, taking the wedding gown off and ranting my heart out.
I mean, if he was as villainish as he claimed to be, he could act like he wanted to perform a chiropractic exercise on the dog and boom, snap his neck to the heavens.
“Why are you awkwardly quiet?” I turned around to see him standing just right behind me.
I was startled; I didn't notice he had gotten that close.
“You are way too old to be sneaky!” I lashed.
“How did I kiss you?” Jude asked out of the blue.
“What?”
He stepped forward, closing the gap between us.
“How did I kiss you?”
I went silent. As much as I loved to talk, this man always made me want to think before I said anything.
I recalled the kiss and tried to see and feel what it was.
It was a new feeling, although I remembered some parts, but I was too stunned to register what I felt in the moment.
“I can't remember?” I confessed.
“Shame, cause you won't be getting it anymore!”
I scoffed and turned around.
“Like I said, if you don't, someone else will!” I repeated.
Before I could say the next word, I felt his hands wrap around my waist and pull me into his arms.
That feeling was washing over me again.
What was he doing to me?
In a split second, Jude pulled me into a kiss; this time it was slow and hot.
His tongue began to unravel mine. My hands automatically went into his hair and trailed down his muscular arms, probably the hand he had done his villain things with, but no, these hands were doing something else to me.
He went deeper; it was intense more than anything I had ever experienced. Whatever I had in college was child's play. This was crazy.
He carried me to his height, placing me in his very deadly muscular torso.
As well as his pants fitting on him, I could see the train leading down to his groin.
“Jude…” I managed to say amidst the kissing, trying to breathe.
But no, he went in again, his hands teasing every part of my body.
Who is this man?
I felt a growl in his Adams apple; that was as hot as hell.
I felt my body react with every touch of his reactions that I couldn't control.
He bit a little bit on my bottom lip, which gave my spinal cord another lethal shock.
“You are trouble!” Jude whispered into my ear.
We broke the kiss, and I just stared away from him with my cheeks turned red.
“That would remind you to stop ranting again!”
He looked down at my body and looked away instantly.
“You need to sleep. I will be in my room!”
Jude's hand slowly grazed over my cleavage, and he stopped there and placed me in the bed.
“What was that?” I finally found my voice.
“A shut-up kiss!” He voiced making his way to the door.
“You look like a fourteen-year-old, and I feel like I just violated you!” He added.
“Then why'd you kiss me?”.
“I did you a favor for you to remember what true kisses feel like!”
He turned the knob to the door and put his body halfway through.
“Dream of me, wifey!” He smirked and disappeared outside of the room.
I ran my fingers down my lips, wondering if any of that was real.
“There's no way that was real!” I whispered to myself.
Not for once did my body reject him; in fact, it longed for him the more.
If I had that kind of kiss outside of marriage, I would feel like the dirtiest human on earth.
I curled up in my bed, my fingers still fondling my lips. I kept staring into the position he was in when he pulled me into him.
“It happened so fast!” I whispered to myself again, recalling all the moments. t
The growl his Adam's apple made felt like the satisfaction that a vampire in the movies would get when it was filled with blood sucking.
Except that the man I am married to is not one of them; his hands guarded my little frame.
The small bite on the lips.
It all made me start to wonder if Jude was actually the Jude Madigan that the people knew?
