Chapter One: Holding It In
Scene One: Marketing Conference
Naomi attends and host a workshop at a Who’s Who’s in Marketing conference in hopes of furthering her career. She is inspired and energized by Tyrone, CMO of Wolf Eye Marketing Enterprise. She takes that inspiration into the workshop to lead and inspire others in her career field. Her boss takes notice and is impressed with her hard work, dedication, and love for her work.
Scene Two: Bathroom
While Naomi attends to her business on the toilet a somewhat familiar voice enters the bathroom. Naomi realizes it is one of the speakers in the conference and tries to not listen in on her conversation. The woman is on her phone and describes in detail an intense naughty encounter with another conference attender. At some point, Naomi puts the pieces together of the random hook up as her fiancé, Andrew. Immediately, she beings to sob in grief of his betrayal. Once the woman leaves the bathroom, she gets herself together and texts Andrew to meet her in her hotel room.
Scene Three: Hotel Room
Andrew is waiting for Naomi at her door, and he tries to greet her with a kiss but fails. Naomi tells Andrew what she heard in the bathroom and accuses him of cheating. Andrew denies and gaslights Naomi in hopes she would stop the accusations. Naomi doesn’t back off and breaks up with Andrew. Andrew walks out of her room with arrogance and laughs. Naomi takes a moment to fix her makeup and pull herself together because she must lead another workshop soon.
