Daniel POV
Isabel makes a couple attempts to call Jaessa, and while it rings through, there is no answer, instead it leads to her voicemail. With my prompting Isabel leaves a message, “Jaessa, this is Isabel, I managed to get your number from Johnny’s phone. I’m worried about you, will you please return my call when you have a chance?” Isabel recites her own number before hanging up the phone.
Now all I can do is wait for word that my mate is ok. Meanwhile, Miguel enters my office abruptly. “Alpha, I think we’ve gotten a sighting on Ricardo.” He informs me.
“Where?” I ask hurriedly.
“Near the Mammoth Lakes within the Sierra National Forest.” He responds.
