Mr. Hawkins must have left sometime on Tuesday because he has not been home since and it is now Friday. I'm starting to miss talking to him and seeing him but I know that's just part of letting go. He seems to be doing okay, I haven't seen him come home drunk since that night and I haven't seen any new bottles of liquor in the house so maybe he's getting that under control. I guess if that's the only thing that comes out of me being here then at least it is something. At least he won't be killing himself with the drink.
