Lexie's eyes widened as I recounted all that happened when I visited Damien. Sometimes she would release a gasp and or the widened her eyes.
“So..you are trying to tell me that your dad thinks Charles is his son?” She asked with narrowed eyes.
I nodded slowly “ Yes. And Richard is his real dad” I explained.
“So you mean they are trying to play each other. Your dad would be the sore loser. And here I was thinking he did not know how to show affection not knowing that he was actually saving his affection for Charles. Your mum was right” she said in a low voice.
