Derek POV Chills ran through my spine as I watched my dad walk towards me with a smile; he had changed from his pyjamas he was wearing to a black short, white shirt, and a brown palm. And he was looking way more healthy than he was; he wore a creepy smile that only stayed on his lips and did not reach his eyes. “Dad?” I called out again. He ignored me and walked to where Charles was sitting. Charles immediately got up and assisted him to sit while he stood by his side like his right-hand man. Just the same way I usually stood beside him during meetings as his heir. “Dad, what the hell is happening here? Why do they have us at gunpoint, and why are you not doing anything?” I asked. He leaned back. “You see these boys around you. They are working at my orders and no one else's, he said.
