Derek POV “What? Can you hear yourself, Lexie? How can Katherine be joy?” I asked, raising my eyebrow. Katherine has been in Turkey with her mother for a year now, and I knew that if she had come to visit, she would have tod me or at least visited my father. Lexie raised her shoulders; her eyes softened. "Derek, you have to believe me. She is the one; I would never lie to you,” she said with pleading eyes, tears gathering in her eyes. “Hey, it's okay,” I said, cupping her cheeks and placing a soft kiss on her head. “We will discuss it once we get home. Don't cry, don't soil your face, please,” I pleaded. I needed her to be calm and okay. Her eyes met mine as she took in a deep breath and nodded.
