" why should I" Almelia repeated taking a stand and a sad but wicked smile formed on her face as Brandon Scarlett kept on moving back ward in fear because of the way his wolf was squirming, it made him wonder if that was how weak, wolf's could be towards their mate,.

yes, his mate, the one he had rejected about five hours ago and now he was here again, to do what, even though that was the major reason of his coming here, he still had not figured out why, he just knew he had to see her, because he should, due to his actions earlier.

Now he was here, was he going to apologize for rejecting her and cause her more pain or was he here to accept her back, now that it seems like his head was okay and he was in control of himself once again, the end of this meeting was going to reveal it.

" please Lia just make it stop" he said pleadingly with signs on his face that shows he was struggling with his wolf Drex , but Almelia said in a mocking tone " so, some one still has a pet name, how come you forgot it earlier"

Brandon ignored the remarks and said instead " please, I can't get any where with this" his face was slowly contorting in pain, which meant that he was beginning to feel the impact of his wolf's growling, what had suddenly made her so wicked, the Lia he knew was calm, less wicked and easy going.

That was when he remembered that today was her sixteenth year birthday, the day her wolf was supposed to arise, which meant that her wolf might want revenge, her wolf was the one turning her mind around, because it was angry that it got rejected by it mate the day it came into this world.

No matter what, Almelia was still Lia, despite what the world confronts her with, she was still the kind hearted loving woman, she once was before her rejection and so therefore seeing the very man that she had been in love with ever since she came into this castle and got rejected by him, in so much pain, should have brought her so much joy.

But it didn't , it instead made her sad, she could not bear it, and so she had to stop her wolf, although it was adamant, Lia forced her to stop growling and she did, at once he calmed down and Lia could not help but smile.

of course she would be more broken than she is right now if she eventually heard that her dear crush Brandon Scarlett is dead, and that was because she will not loose her mate to another person, she would claim him back, some how, she did not know how yet.

so, now every one settled, Brandon Scarlett now fearlessly strode into the room, putting on a sad expression, then he said " I am sorry about how I acted earlier, believe me I don't know what got into me" .

" really, so now are you here to tell me what I need to hear or actually worsen the situation" she asked with rapidly growing eagerness and settled back down on her bed, in case if she should throw a tantrum, there would be some thing to hold onto.

Although, Brandon Scarlett knew what she was talking about, he still went ahead and said " Happy birthday" to her annoyance, but she hid it when she remembered that this was actually the reason why she had gone to his room earlier this morning .

Almelia slid down the bed again and slowly advanced towards him, with her lips pouted in the form of a kiss, she got to him and held his hands with her's and kissed him passionately, the effects of the kiss shocked the both of them.

As soon as their lips met, it sent a shiver of awareness down their body, the fact that they were meant to be together, and when their tongues met, the spark of pleasure was beyond any other thing they were ever gonna experience in life with another man or woman.

when their lips parted, it only paved way for the craving of more, it was the only thing that Almelia regretted, Brandon Scarlett made to kiss her back but she broke off, as much as she wanted it, she decided that was gonna be his punishment, she was not gonna let him kiss her back, unless he reversed his words.

" please " he pleaded but she smiled hungrily still holding his hands and said " please tell me that you have come here to tell me that you accept me back, that truly, you were not your self this morning, please" .

The way she pleaded made him wish he could grant her that wish but he could not unless he wanted to incur the wrath of his father, it's not like he is afraid of his father, but this was about the kingdom, his father said that as a future Alpha you have to put the kingdom first before pleasure.

" No, Lia and I am so sorry" he said not believing he just said them, his hands were shaking, he was trembling, yet he could not rephrase those words, now he just had to wait and see the effects of the words, he had just pronounced.

Almelia looked up and said " please, please say yes" in what was very much a whisper for she meant it loud, but the realization that she was just wasting her time had shushed her, she squeezed his hands tighter as if that would have any extra effects, in redirecting his decision.

" I wish I could say yes, but I can't and you have to understand, being a future Alpha comes with some price and you are one of it, please understand, I didn't wish to reject you, I have always wanted to make you my Luna if I become an Alpha but now I see that those were just dreams" Brandon Scarlett breathed all at once trying to make her see reasons with him but it seemed like her mind was to blank to see any reason.
