After three days, Jack's love bubble was pooped. Mary knocked on Jack's room door late at night. Jack answered, "Yes, is everything OK?" Mary informed Jack that she needed to talk to him. Jack jumped out of bed and opened the door. Alanna was taking a shower.
Jack stepped outside the room and closed the door behind him. He walked with Mary to the kitchen. Jack opens the refrigeration and grabs a pitcher of water. Mary quietly stared at him. Jack grabbed a cup and began to pour some water. He finished pouring the water and took a sip. Then he looked at Mary who was nervously biting her nails. Jack asked, "Are you ever going to tell me what's wrong?"
Mary looked at Jack in the eyes and said, "I have to go." Jack put the cup down and asked, "When, now?" Mary nodded, "no right now but I'm leaving early tomorrow." Jack knew that his sister was only going to help him for a little bit, but he wasn't ready to see her go. Jack grabbed his sister's shoulders and asked, "You really need to leave." Mary answered with a smile, "Yes, I need to get back to work." Jack hugged Mary and said, "I'm really sad that you are leaving us." Mary put her hand on his forearm and said, "Jack you know what you guys are doing is not healthy. Alanna has been ignoring her job and you haven't been spending time with Hunter. You guys need to remember that there is a world out here." Jack looked down ashamed. He knew his sister was right, but he was enjoying his time alone with Alanna too much.
Jack kissed his sister’s forehead, thanked her for everything and offered her a ride to the airport. Mary thanked him and informed him that she already took care of everything. Jack went back to the room. Alanna was coming out of the bathroom when she saw Jack walking in the room with his head down. She noticed that he looked sad. Alanna ran to Jack and asked him what was wrong. Jack explained to her that his sister was leaving. Alanna told Jack, "Don't worry love, I'm here for whatever you need." Jack held Alanna in his arms and kissed her.
The next morning, Jack woke up early to take care of Hunter. Alanna woke up on an empty bed. She got up to use the bathroom and saw her phone lighting up. She grabbed her phone on the way to the bathroom and saw all the messages she had missed from Carol. Carol had been trying to contact her for days. Alanna immediately called Carol.
Carol was very upset. She needed Alanna. Alanna tried to apologize but Carol was too upset to care. She informed Alanna about a problem they had with the city inspector and how they had to close the funeral home until further notice because she wasn't there to fix the problem. Alanna couldn't believe it. She was only gone for a little bit.
Alanna rushed to get ready. She needed to fix the problem with the funeral home. The Baker's had to keep their grandfather frozen until they could open, or they would have to go to another funeral home.
Alanna ran out of the room and went looking for Jack in Hunter's room. Jack was changing Hunter’s diaper, so he didn't notice that Alanna was dressed and ready to go. Jack called to Alanna, "What do you want for breakfast, my love? I'll finish here and get breakfast ready." Alanna took a deep breath and said, "I'm sorry, love, something came up and I have to run out." Alanna kissed Jack's back and told him she loved him and rushed out.
Mary was in the living room getting her things ready to go. Alanna gave Mary a hug, thanked her for everything and ran out. Mary's Uber arrived at the same time as Jack was coming out of Hunter's room with Hunter. Mary ran to them, gave them a kiss, said goodbye and ran out the door. Jack looked at Hunter and asked, "Okay buddy, what are we going to eat?"
Alanna went straight to City Hall to speak with the Inspector. She waited for an hour until he finally was able to see her. He explained the violations that she needed to fix in order to be able to open the funeral home. Alanna spends all day running around getting the funeral home up to date.
Jack left her a few messages, but she wasn't able to get back to him until 10:00 pm. She felt horrible so she called him and put him on speaker as she took her clothes off to take a shower. Jack was a little upset that he didn't hear from her all day, but once Alanna explained what happened, he understood. Alanna kept Jack on speaker until she was done and ready for bed, then she said goodnight and hung up.
The next day, Alanna had to be at the business early to let the electrician in. Once she let him into the building, she went inside her office and called Jack. Jack was changing Hunter, so he didn't answer. Once the electrician was finished, Alanna was finally able to call the inspector. She knew the inspector for years, so he didn't mind rushing over to do the inspection, so Alanna could open the funeral home.
Everything went well. Alanna was free by 6:00 pm. She decided to go visit Jack for a little bit before heading back home. She has a big day tomorrow. The baker's grandfather was arriving early in the morning.
Alanna picked up some Chinese on the way to Jack's house. She couldn't wait to see him. Alanna had missed him so much. She couldn't wait to have his arms around her. As she is thinking of Jack's arms around her, Alanna's phone rings. She answered and it was Carol with a dry voice asking if she had time to talk. Alanna told her, "I'm sorry but it will have to wait. I'm pulling into Jack's house right now."
Alanna hung up the phone and grabbed the food. She speeds to the door and knocks. Jack opened the door with a big smile and received Alanna with a kiss. Alanna wrapped her hands around his neck and whispered into his ear, "I'm eating with you, then I'm eating you." Jack laughed and turned, letting Alanna see his mom sitting on the sofa. Alanna lets go of Jack and whispers, "Do you want me to go?" Jack grabbed Alanna by the waist and kissed her again. Then he said, "No, my love, stay. I miss you."
Hanna, Jack's mother, stands up and said bye to Jack and Hunter. She rushed out the door and Jack closed it behind her. Jack took the food from Alanna's hands and put it on the table. Then he picked her up and sat her on top of the table. He began to slide her skirt up when Alanna stops him. She said, "can we eat first? I haven't eaten anything since breakfast."
Jack agreed and began to serve the food so they could eat, then Hunter started crying. Jack excused himself and took Hunter to his room. Jack put Hunter to bed and by the time he came out of the room, Alanna was done eating. Jack tried to hide his disappointment. Jack approached Alanna from behind. He slides his hands down her shirt and kisses her neck. Alanna turned and began to kiss him. Alanna pushed Jack to the sofa. He fell backwards. Then Alanna pulled Jack's pants off. She slid her skirt up, took her panties off and climbed on Jack. Alanna slides him inside of her and began to move up and down on him. She hugged him tight and told him how much she missed him as she moved faster and faster. In no time, Jack was finished. He held her back and pressed her down as he moaned loudly. Alanna drowned his moan with a kiss. They kissed passionately for a while. Then Alanna kissed Jack's forehead and climbed over him. She put her skirt back down and grabbed her stuff. Alanna went to Hunter's room and kissed his forehead, then he went back to the living room. Jack had his pants back on and was looking at Alanna with a sad face. Alanna hugged him and kissed him. She then looked at his eyes and told him that she needed to go. Jack struggled to let her go but he finally did. Alanna rushed home and went to bed without showering. She wanted to keep Jack's scent.
