It was a cool morning. The sun rose later than usual and so did Laura. Jack woke up early as usual. He took Hunter to daycare and went to work.
Laura woke up with a mixture of nervousness and excitement. Her boyfriend, Connor, was finally coming home. She dreamed of this day for so long. She had made so many plans for this day, but now that it was here, she didn't feel prepared.
Laura woke up and made herself coffee. She stood in the kitchen and drank her coffee slowly. Then Alanna burst in the door calling Laura, "Are you ready?" Laura called out from the kitchen, "I'm over here Alanna." Alanna was surprised to find her in pajamas. She looked at her confused and exclaimed, "why are you not ready?" Laura shook her shoulders.
Alanna took the cup away from her and placed it on the count
