A ray of sun filtered through the curtain, waking Alanna. Jack slept next to her with his arm around her. Alanna grabbed the blanket from the bottom of the bed and carefully covered Jack’s naked body. Jack opened his eyes and smiled. He pulled Alanna under the blanket with him. A loud noise made Jack and Alanna jump up.
