CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
MIRA
After breakfast, I headed to the Royal Practice Room where Tesia and I had been holding our daily training sessions. I’d been spending a lot of time in that room, since I worked with her during the day and most evenings I would go back for physical training. I needed to get better with the longsword of the White Riders. There was no question in my mind that I was going to need to be at the top of my game when I faced the White Riders.
When I got there, Tesia wasn’t alone. Gylan and Neelu were there with her.
“Good morning, Mira,” Gylan said when I stepped in. “I hope you don’t mind my intrusion, but I wanted to show you your armor.”
“Come see it!” Tesia was excited. “It’s beautiful!”
I walked over to the table where the pieces were laid out. I’d only seen a glim
