RISPAN
Watching Mira deal with the Rider was very satisfying. I knew talking to him like that had been difficult for Mira; that wasn’t how she liked to deal with people. But some people needed it.
“That could have gone worse.” I smiled and took another swallow of ale.
Mira scowled at me. “It could have gone a lot better.”
I just shrugged. “Nobody died.”
Shéna gave me a disapproving look. I still didn't know what to make of her and she wasn't making it easy.
