Two thingsQuinn knew about the girl in front of her was that she was beautiful andpopular. That was it. Nothing more. Or at least nothing more that Quinn knew.Maybe Caitlin was sneaky and mean too, traits she showed every time around her.But another obvious thing she knew was that the head cheerleader liked to walkaround like she owned the place, which in a twisted way, she did. "I'mtalking to you, loser." She spoke with such authority, that made Quinnshudder a little just by hearing her voice. Lowering her gaze, Quinn hid underher thick hair, it always helped her with bullies. Her hair could be awful, butit was like a shield. It was a ridiculous excuse, but to her, it worked. "Shethinks she can hide her hideous face from us." Another voice spoke, thisone was more high pitched and annoying. Through the "curtain"that was her hair Quinn couldn't tell who said it though. "Hey,we're talking to you." The leader walked closer, pushing Quinn a little, making her lift her head. "G-getout." Quinn's voice came out just above a whisper. She wished she had thestrenght to talk out loud like she did with Liam, but somehow all her strenghtwas gone. She wasn't suited to be strong at all. "Thisis the school's toilet, you don't have the right to tell us to go away."Caitlin replied, rolling her eyes. Quinn's blood boiled with herhipocrisy. "N-neitheryou have the right to bully me." She muttered. The main girl frowned ather while one of the minions made a surprised sound. Quinn would do the same ifshe wasn't so terrified. "Whatdid you say?" She walked closer and closer, Quinn could feel her coldbreath touching the point of her nose. Even her breath was as cold as herheart. How pathetic. The overused scene where the poor bullied girl getstackled by the popular one and her followers. "Y-youdon't have the right to bully me." Quinn spoke again, gathering all herfake strenght and looking the girl in the eyes. "Really?"Venom was dripping from the Caitlin's voice. "Because in my point of view, you're asking to be bullied." She started to pace around, like adetective trying to pressure the culprit of a crime. Quinn almost felt theburning light focusing on her while the eyes of the others glared, mocked her. "N-no."Quinn tried to stop that bull and go away. She quickly walked towards the doorbut was stopped by the two minions, who craved their sharp nails on her arms, making her squeak in both surprise and pain. After putting her in place, theylet go, leaving the sweater with a few marks. The blonde one instantly blockedthe get away. "Sonow I have a little question for you" Caitlin said, pacing around again."Why were you at my table?" "Liaminvited me." "Ha!"The strawberry blonde laughed humorlessly. "Please, don't joke around likethat. How could he invite you to eat with us?" "Heinvited me, if you don't believe me ask him." Quinn huffed, tired of thatlittle scene. Misinterpreting that as an act of defiance, Caitlin raised herhand in the air and slapped Quinn right on her cheek. That made her lost alittle balance, almost falling. "Hewouldn't invite trash like you to sit with him. And if he did, I'll make surehe won't do it anymore." Caitlin went after Quinn again, who was stillwith a hand on her bruised cheek. Kicking the nerd, Caitlin and her sluttypartners laughed. "Lookat you. You're so pathetic." Caitlin kicked her again, but a littlelighter than before. "Always moping around, not realizing nobody wants youaround. Everybody hates you, did you know that?" Yes, Iknow. Quinn thought, still on the floor. She quickly went into a fetalposition, so Caitlin wouldn't do any harm to her anymore. After some moreseconds of taunts and beatings, a light in the dark appeared. The bathroom'sdoor, quickly opened, revealing a furious girl. "Whatare you doing?" The girl shouted. Quinn could only hear her voice, butwhen she kneeled behind her and touched her back, she knew the girl wasterrified. "That'snone of your business." Caitlin answered. "Yes,it is. You're bullying a girl!" "Sowhat? It has nothing to do with you." One of the minions replied. "Areyou really that stupid, Caitlin? I could call a teacher right now." Quinnhad to admit the girl was brave. Talking back to the most popular girl inschool was a serious business. She slowly looked at the brave girl next to her, seeing glimpses of her ivory skin and dark brown hair. "Areyou really that stupid...err.." Caitlin seemed to search for a names."What's your name? Whatever, it doesn't matter. But you are the stupid onewho thinks I'll ever be caught." She then yawned. "This is startingto get boring anyway, so you're lucky for today." She started to walk,Quinn sat up and watched as the bitchy girl's heels clacked on the floor.Caitlin suddenly turned around and glared at her. "Thisisn't over yet. Just one more warning: stay away from Liam." She thenopened the door, her followers right behind and slammed it. A calmingsilence took over the bathroom. However, Quinn looked down, drowning in defeat. The brave girl furrowed her eyebrows, getting up again and offering her hand.Quinn brushed it off and got up on her though, giving just a little nod to thegirl and ready to walk away when a hand held her arm. "Wait!"The girl pulled her gently. "Are you okay? Hurt anywhere?" She askedsweetly. But what Quinn cold swallow was only a bittersweet flavor. "Ihave to go." She murmured "Look, you need help and that's obvious." The girl stated firmly. "My nameis Emma, if you need any help you can come to me. I'll hel-" "Idon't want help." Quinn pulled her arm away from Emma's grasp and ran outof the bathroom, leaving a startled girl behind. Desperatelylooking for a place to hide, Quinn ran through the halls like her life dependedon it. And it did. She received a few glares and curious looks, nothing thatshe wasn't used to however. Finally reaching the soccer field, she ran to thenearest tree, hiding behind it. Putting her legs next to her body, Quinn stoodstill. Not cyring. Not screaming. Just with her head down, savoing the sourtaste of humiliation. But thatmade her realize something: she would have her revenge. Not just against Liamand his friends, but against the girls who thought they were better than her.The girls who tormented her every chance they had. They would pay as well. She wasready to bite the big dog back. Harder. --- Restingwith his peeps after a meal, Liam sighed in annoyance when he noticed Quinnwent to the bathroom and didn't come back. His patient was already reaching it'slimit, he had a dare to win and the more time the nerd spent away from him, wasthe time that she could be falling in love with his glorious self. Driftingoff, he only came back to sense when James suddenly called his name. "Li!"The boy called, catching Liam's attention by the mention of his nickname. OnlyJames was allowed to call him that way. "What'sup?" Liam tilted his head in confusion. "Thenerd didn't come back." James smirked, sipping the last remains of hisdrink. He casually leaned on his chair, a clear sign of how he thought he ownedthe table, like the rest of his team mates. "Thanksbut I already noticed that." He shrugged "Yeah, but Caitlin went away and didn't come back either." His another friend,Damien pointed out. Liam arched an eyebrow, knowing exactly what could behappening under his nose. He couldn't say if he cared about that or not,Caitlin wouldn't hurt Quinn so much, maybe just a couple of deserved hatefulwords. That was his payback for humiliating him and telling him off. "Whatever, let them be." Liam stretched his arms, still trying to send the sleepaway. "Woah, you have no heart, Li." James said. "Caitlin must be destroying thatnerd by now. Poor girl, I almost feel bad for her." "Doyou think she's really harming the nerd?" Damien asked in all his naivety "Theyaren't out shopping and gossiping around like two little girls, this I have nodoubt." James laughed of his own joke. "But it's not a good thing, you know. If you went to the bathroom and saved that nerd from queen bee'srage, she would be even more into you." "Youhave a point." Liam admited, still not sure if he should get his ass upand go after Quinn or just let it be. "Trustme, if go to that bathroom you will win over not only that nerd, but the othergirls love guys who are willing to protect them." That madeLiam's mind change. He wouldn't do that for Quinn, but for himself. She wasimportant to his dare after all, and what James said was very...appealing. Soappealing he would surely score some more girls that day, and after he was donewith the nerd, he would have all the time to go to the others. "Okay."Liam stood straight and walked towards the hall. James and Damien cheering himfrom the table, other students looking confused to why they were being soloud. A smirkfound it's way to Liam's lips. He would win that girl. He would win thatbet. He was thebig dog, nobody dared to go against him. Ever.
