After Caitlin's words, Liam stood there, shocked. He watched as she ran to her house, her strawberry blonde hair tied in a messy ponytail, even messier than before due to the wind. The same wind hit his own hair, making it fall over the eyes. Still, he could see as she desperately opened the front door, then closed it with a loud noise. He didn't move, neither bothered adjusting his hair, thing he would do whenever his hair was slightly out of place. He was that distraught. Liam didn't try to stop her. He could, but somehow his body just couldn't move. So that was how it felt to be heartbroken? He had seen things like that before.
