Nobody had seen Alejandro nor Rachel since the afternoon incident and everyone wanted to stay away from trouble so no one bothered disturbing Alejandro. And as for Rachel, nobody knew what to say to her after what Alejandro had already done.
As dinner time approached, Alejandro walked into the dining room and saw everyone sitting in silence as he spotted that Rachel’s seat was empty. He felt a twinge in his heart but he didn’t bulge much about it and decided to proceed with the dinner.
As he sat down he noticed that there was the usual fried, grilled and grease dripping food over the table. Everyone was eating in silence, which was pierced by the clicking of spoons. Alejandro looked around to see if any of the healthy pasta or chicken was there but there wasn’t any.
