Azaki : the devil warrior

The snatcher

it's a bright and sunny day in the town of gato, a small town outside shinagou defense walls but still under it's protection.

In this small town there is an odd looking house quite different from the others because of its bad infrastructure and in that house there is an old man named kiro who is sitting on a rocky chair meditating until his meditation is disturbed by an incoming person.

Loud matches are heard from afar as a young boy approaches the olds man house dressed in a black and red t-shirt with a brown trouser and slightly red eyes.

Finally the boy reaches the house and the following conversation ensues between the old man and the boy

"azaki where have you been and where's your sister?" said the old man whose name was kiro

"tashima's at the market, she said she needed to buy some personal items" azaki said

"I've been so worried that I had to meditate to keep myself calm."

"sorry pops but I have something to show you."

" uhhhh don't tell me you stole again"

"but this time I didn't i swear, I was just having a little stroll around town and I found this gold necklace just lying there on the floor and since no one was there I decided to keep the necklace."

"azaki how many times will I tell you that taking things that do not belong to you is wrong I mean what if you had been caught you know that there are posters all around town about a kid called who steals things from people and if they had saw you with that they would have thought you were the snatcher."

"I know I know, it's just that I wanted to help. I know your business hasn't been favouring you that much."

"I know you wanted to help but you have to be cautious, you know very well that no one in this town just accidentally drops a gold necklace so you have to be careful okay."

"okay,I promise this is the last time I will steal."

"it better be now go and eat your food,it's getting cold."

LATER THAT DAY

" azakiiiiiiii!!!!!!!"

the old man yells as azaki approaches him with his eyes dim probably because he was sleeping.

"what is it pops?"

"sorry for disturbing you, it's just that your sister hasn't yet returned from the market and I'm getting a little worried about her. could you go to the market and check on her."

"but I'm tired.*

"but she's your sister."

"fine."(he replies as he rolls his eyes through the room)

"and if you see her tell her to come home, it's getting late."

AT THE MARKET

azaki reaches the market and starts to mutter under his breath.

"I can't believe I'm doing this, making me miss my sleep time.i swear when I see her I'm gonna scold her so hard that her eyes will fall out."

As he continues to mutter he sees a girl with a milk coloured gown,pink hair and brown eyes (tashima) purchasing some food items.

He approaches her while stomping his foot on the ground angrily and starts yelling at her

"how long will it take you to buy some clothes and groceries?"

"what do you mean?" said tashima

"you were gone for so long that dad sent me to come check on you.because of you my precious sleep time was interrupted."

"I'm sorry but if it makes you feel any better I bought you a gift."

"fine just hurry up and pay this man so that we can leave."

As they tend to leave the market, azaki attention is caught by the discussion of a woman at the market who is reporting the case of her stolen necklace to the town guards

"and when i checked my purse it was gone." said the woman

"don't worry mam we will find the culprit and he will be judged." said the guard

Troubled by the thought that the necklace he took might be for the woman,he grabs tashima by the hand and plans to leave the market as soon as possible

"why are you in such a hurry?"

"nothing it's just that it's getting late and we don't want to go home when it's dark right?"

in a hurry to leave azaki does not notice a man coming his way and stumbles into the him, causing him to fall to the ground. he gets up and notices that his fall attracted a crowd, he begins to sweat as he notice everyone looking at him in a surprised manner and then from behind he hears woman saying

"that's it, that's the necklace." said the woman

azaki not knowing what is going on looks down and sees the necklace he picked from the ground earlier in the morning on the floor. immediately he sees guards walking towards him. frightened by the thought of what comes next he grabs tashima by the hand and begins to run.

"what's going on?" asked tashima

"I'll explain later, right now we have to go."

he looks back and sees guards chasing him and then increases his speed. desperately looking for a way out he changes his direction to the east(left) but is startled to find more guards waiting for him at the front. he looks back and sees guards approaching him from behind.

"azaki what do we now?"

he looks west(right) and sees a way out of the market but there's a forest ahead and tells tashima to follow him as he changes his course towards the direction of the forest.
