Not only did I feel like a complete i***t in this dress.. But when I looked up I saw Kade standing outside the store window, and what’s worse is, he saw me. We made eye contact for a second I could feel my whole face turn red.
“Ok, I think I’m good Jen.” I rushed back inside the dressing room and changed back into my jeans and hoodie. I breathed a sigh of relief. It felt good to feel like me again.
I walked out of the dressing room wondering if they were going to still be outside. I’m not sure if I was relieved or sad to find them gone.
“Ok, we are definitely getting you that dress Ara!” She said clapping her hands excitedly. “To think we found your dress in the first store, that never happens! You lucked out.”
I’m sure I didn’t feel lucky. But I just nodded my head and smiled
