Kade asked if we all wanted to spend the day together. Before I could even say anything Jen said that we really had to get back home before Mags got too worried about us.
“Mags will be worried if she comes over and she sees my jeep all messed up,” Jen said. “Especially without contacting her. I know she will think the worse.”
I didn’t even think about contacting Mags. I asked Jen if she had her cell phone. “I do, but it isn’t working. I have no service here.” She answered.
“Oh if that is all you need to do, you can barrow mine,” said John as he handed his phone to Jen.
“Oh, that would be great!” Said Jen.
