Just after he got off the plane, his office had sent him a message. Summer had stopped by the office looking for him, and wanted to see him immediately regarding his new girlfriend. Xavier texted Summer and agreed to meet her at a pizza joint in Bon Air, close to his home.
Xavier had to admit he was curious. He was more than a little bothered by the fact that Jada did not call him until after midnight, and even then, she seemed distressed and did not want to talk long. And he had tried to call Jada several times today, but the calls went straight to voicemail. He wondered if there was some connection between Jada’s distant behavior and Summer's request to meet with him. He hoped that Summer hadn’t confronted her in some way.
