CHAPTER 9
Darrin was driving by Riccie’s, when he spotted Becky and Taylor walking from their car to the door. He quickly pulled into the parking lot and parked beside their car. He turned and grinned at his passengers.
“How do you guys feel about a little break?” he asked.
“Fine with us,” said Sal as he and Micky opened their door to join him. Mark climbed out of the truck, and they headed inside.
Darrin spotted Becky and started toward her. Becky looked up, saw Darrin, and started smiling and heading in his direction. When they came together, their hands automatically met.
“Hi,” said Darrin.
“Hi,” said Becky smiling as she gazed at Darrin.
Taylor saw what was happening and sighed. She saw Mark, Sal, and Micky headed their way. They were following Darrin.
