When Phillip emerged from the elevator, he saw Taylor standing in the hall outside of Andres’. He smiled and hurried to take her hands in his. There was a shock, which they ignored.
“Hi,” said Phillip looking in Taylor’s eyes.
“Hi,” said Taylor gazing back at him, just as enthralled.
“I have been looking for you all my life,” said Phillip.
“I have been waiting for you to find me,” agreed Taylor.
“Shall we go inside?” asked Phillip.
Taylor nodded, and they turned to enter, still holding hands.
The hostess, Lynn met them with a smile. “Come with me. Brenda called, and we have a private table ready for you.”
They followed her to an alcove away from the crowd, where they would have more privacy to talk. “Wanda will be right over to take your orders,” she said.
